BOC Studio was formed from the passion for painting of a student at the University of Architecture, and that student, now the Creative Director of BOC Studio, is Mr. Duong Thanh Nguyen.

Mr. Duong Thanh Nguyen was born in Tien Giang. When he was young, his family often called him Boc. As he grew up, he always believed that it was his family’s love that guided him toward the success he has today. Therefore, to express his gratitude to his family, when founding the company, he chose his childhood nickname as the company name, Boc Studio.

In 2010, while still a student, Mr. Duong Thanh Nguyen listened to the burning passion within himself and from that moment, the inner motivation pushed him to independently explore and learn architectural 3D visualization technology on the computer, simply because of his passion and his desire to apply technology to architectural visualization.

At that time, computer based architectural visualization was still very new in Vietnam. While most students were still accustomed to drawing on paper, Mr. Duong Thanh Nguyen chose a pioneering path by working with digital architectural visualization.

After just one year of continuous self study and practice, he became proficient in 3D visualization skills and completed his first works. He shared these works on his personal page and received significant recognition and attention from the community.

Mr. Duong Thanh Nguyen began receiving requests from friends to teach architectural visualization skills on the computer, and he opened his first classes right in his rented room, passing on his knowledge to friends and fellow students at the university.

These classes gradually helped Mr. Duong Thanh Nguyen’s name become more widely known among students and professionals in the field. From sharing knowledge with friends, the courses became increasingly professional, and in 2015, Boc Studio was officially established, a brand built from a pure passion for the work and a desire to create outstanding quality products that deliver the highest level of satisfaction to clients.

The name BOC carries the love of family, which Mr. Duong Thanh Nguyen brings into his work with the philosophy of treating clients with the same care, love, and responsibility as family, through the products that BOC creates to serve client needs.

With a spirit of constantly pushing beyond limits, BOC Studio not only creates realistic architectural imagery but also delivers vivid experiences that allow clients to fully perceive the value of architectural spaces. The BOC team is not simply composed of 3D artists, but visualizers with architectural backgrounds, experienced architects who deeply understand design and technical aspects, ensuring the highest level of realism in every product.

Throughout its development journey, BOC Studio has achieved important milestones that affirm its reputation and position in the industry, including

• 2018: Invited by Chaos Group to be a speaker at the V Ray Day event for the launch of V Ray Next, an important milestone that elevated BOC’s name to an international level.

• 2019: Won First Prize at the Autodesk Interior Design Visualization Open Challenge, affirming BOC’s position in the architectural visualization industry.

• 2020: BOC’s works EverGreen Restaurant and The Bungalow were selected as featured images for the Autodesk Calendar and ranked in the Top 10 of VWArtclub, one of the world’s most reputable architectural and visualization communities.

• 2022 2023: Invited multiple times by Chaos Vantage to share BOC’s advanced and highly efficient workflow using Chaos Vantage technology on their official platforms, reinforcing BOC Studio’s standing in the international market.
